This is another example of a custom designed and built sauna to fit in to a very small space. With the help of Ukko Saunas design team and local carpenter this traditional custom built sauna is a perfect fit for its proud owner, Jim C.:

I have used it almost daily since it was finished a few weeks ago. Very happy with the look and how much we got into such a small space. I think the carpenter we used has done a great job of blending the seats with the heater protector. Not a single screw in sight.

I was concerned at first that it wouldn’t get hot enough with the window and the glass wall/door. However I can confirm from many personal experiences that it gets to 60-65 degrees C without much trouble and that is more than hot enough for me.

Ukko Saunas & Tubs were recently commissioned to install a custom built sauna in a new residential high rise right in the heart of the lower north shore in Sydney.

The designers of the building recognizing the growing popularity of saunas in Australia quite rightly decided that it had to be a substantial size. After lengthy consultation with our design team and estimators the final design was established and the result is a five star facility that easily caters for up to ten adults at a time.

The walls, ceiling and door have been hand-crafted from the finest grade of Canadian Western Red Cedar and the heating is effortless with the 12.5kW Finnish sauna heater.

Construction was completed on time with all requirements of the contract being met or exceeded much to the satisfaction of all. This is just one of many such projects undertaken by Ukko in recent months some of which have been much smaller, but the result is always the same – a faultless job and a happy customer:
